Steel offers outstanding recycling properties and can be almost 100% recycled. A responsible approach to the environment involves sustainable management and the use of resource-conserving systems and processes at all our locations.
An important step along the route to minimizing harmful substances was completed with the implementation of an environmental management system. The Mannheim and Breyell branches have already been awarded EN ISO 14001 certification. This includes e.g. the review of corporate decisions with respect to their environmental sustainability and impact, the economic use of power, water and raw materials and the minimization of effects harmful to the environment.
