Our branch in Mannheim.
Today`s Mannheim branch emerged from the former Eisen- und Stahlhandel (Mannheim warehouse, sheet/steel sections). It was subsequently known as “Thyssen Stahlunion AG” and thereafter as “Thyssen-Schulte GmbH” before it ultimately became part of what is now ThyssenKrupp Stahl-Service-Center GmbH in 1994.
The production shop covers 30,000 m² and includes a total of seven cut-to-length and slitting lines. The vast warehousing areas provide space for around 50,000 metric tons of coils in a variety of grades and surface finishes. The direct availability of such a wide product range ensures maximum flexibility which can fulfill even the most specific customer wishes in a short space of time. A further highlight of the Mannheim branch: specialization in high-quality stainless steel.
