Herzog Coilex GmbH, founded by Walter Herzog, is a company with a tradition spanning over thirty years. ThyssenKrupp Stahl-Service-Center GmbH currently holds a 74.9% interest in Herzog Coilex GmbH. The remaining 25.1% are held by voestalpine Stahl Service Center GmbH in Linz.
Herzog Coilex is now one of the leading companies in the steel service sector in Southern Germany - conveniently located adjacent to two rail links and a quay. At a site covering almost 20,000 m², around 200,000 tons of slit strip and blanks are sold every year.
The company has broad technological capabilities: slit strip is produced on three lines in thicknesses of 0.3 to 3.5 mm and widths of 20 to 1,650 mm. The cut-to-length line fulfills individual customer wishes in thicknesses of 0.4 to 3.0 mm, widths of 300 to 1,650 mm and lengths of 400 to 6,000 mm.
The broad product range includes cold-/hot-rolled and coated slit strip and blanks through to electrical steel sheet and strip. The outlook is good for the broad-based customer segments from the automotive and auto supply, furniture, fittings and white goods industries.
