Taking a look at the current ThyssenKrupp AG job market is the first step toward an exciting career. Current job advertisements for ThyssenKrupp Stahl-Service-Center GmbH and the entire Group can be found there.
The opportunity to work in each of the various departments right at the beginning of the trainee program was ideal for me to get a solid initial impression of ThyssenKrupp Stahl-Service-Center GmbH. I particularly liked having the opportunity to personally get to know numerous central contact people from a great number of departments right in the first working week.
At the same time you have a better understanding of how the various departments work together. This knowledge is particularly helpful later in everyday working situations, as soon as questions arise that involve other departments. You immediately know which person to contact and in many cases you have already met the contact personally.
After completing my Business Studies course at the University of Jena and then spending a year abroad, the offer to start at ThyssenKrupp Stahl-Service-Center GmbH as a trainee in the sales department was very enticing. Exciting, varied and highly informative stations as a trainee have helped me to apply the theoretical knowledge I learned at university in finding practical situations. Within the various stations you have the unique opportunity to build up an extensive network in a short time and make good use of it.
For example, while visiting customers both at home and abroad I got to know the idiosyncrasies of the B2B markets, followed the company's Sales and Service Initiative in our Bochum branch and helped to enhance our premium strategy concept in the Strategy department. I really like that fact that our flat hierarchies are helpful in quickly finding contacts who give you advice and assistance. Apart from that, the flexibly designed trainee program helps each trainee to discover and develop their strengths at the various stations.
Our extensive seminar program specifically helps to improve important soft skills and gain new knowledge.
