Electrogalvanized sheet
A continuous electrolytic process applies a zinc coating on one or both sides of cold-rolled sheet. This zinc coating protects the steel sheet against corrosion and, in combination with standard surface treatments, forms an excellent surface for subsequent paint or foil coating. It is used for exposed automotive parts and other parts with high surface requirements, in the household appliance and electronics industries, as well as for cladding, packaging or vending machine housings.
